About the Role:
Elysium Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Dietitian to join our team at Thornford Park. As a Specialist Dietitian, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of dietetic services across our hospital, working with individuals with mental illness and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the ongoing implementation of the Hospital's Nutrition and Hydration Strategy
- Complete assessments, plan, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes aligned to care plans
- Engage in clinical supervision and training to enhance your skill set and development
- Collaborate with patients and their carers, as well as other healthcare professionals, to provide personalized care
- Maintain accurate patient records and establish effective communication with patients and staff
- Implement and develop evidence-based therapeutic activities to aid patient mental health recovery
- Provide training and education to patients and staff
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Dietetics
- HCPC Registration
- Knowledge of Mental Health Act 1983 & CPA
- Experience of working in a similar setting
