Job Description

Boeing is seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Engineer to join our team in the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building robust production plans for maintenance inputs, reviewing work packages to ensure all consumables, expendables, and tooling are identified and available, and ensuring regulatory requirements for Production Planning are adhered to at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out day-to-day Production Planning duties, including building production plans, work packages, and inputting technical data.
  • Perform reviews of work packages to ensure all necessary resources are available.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to company procedures.
  • Build accurate Man Hour and Hangar Bay plans for review by Management and QA.
  • Represent Production Planning during internal and external audits.
  • Take ownership of department objectives and goals.
  • Work closely with the Lead Production Planning Engineer to ensure processes and procedures are monitored and kept up to date.
  • Monitor compliance through sampling.
  • Participate in pre-input meetings and continuously monitor processes to ensure maximum efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years' experience in a maintenance planning environment.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience using the AMOS system.
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Aircraft Engineering Degree.
  • Previous experience on widebody and/or ETOPS aircraft.

This is a locally hired position in the UK, and candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants.

This position does not offer relocation, and candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
