About the Team

Our Clinical Device Technologist team is a dynamic and supportive group of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care through the effective management and maintenance of medical devices. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of medical equipment across our hospital sites.

Job Description
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clinical teams on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing system performance.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the management and maintenance of medical equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure that medical devices are properly maintained and calibrated, minimizing downtime and optimizing system performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of HNC in Electronics engineering (level 4/5 BTEC).
  • Extensive experience in a field of Medical electronic maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of current legislation recommendations for the management of medical equipment.
  • Specialist knowledge in the application and use of a wide range of Electro biomedical equipment, including advanced troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • A wide range of supplier-approved training on the servicing and repair of Electro biomedical equipment.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including a fantastic annual leave allowance, flexible working opportunities, and protected hours for health and wellbeing activities.
