We have an exciting opportunity for an Optical Technician to join our team at the Bristol Eye Hospital.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Accident and Emergency Department with essential diagnostic tests and patient care.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of ophthalmic care, or equivalent qualifications, such as 5 GCSEs to grade C or above, including English, Maths, and one other science subject.

You will be responsible for performing visual acuity testing, ocular pressure checks, OCT scanning, and HVF testing, as well as providing general personal care and support to patients.

We offer a competitive salary of £24,071 - £25,674 per annum pro rata, with yearly salary increments, and a range of benefits, including a supportive working environment and opportunities for professional development.
