Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Technician to join our team at the Bristol Eye Hospital. The successful candidate will support the Accident and Emergency Department with essential diagnostic tests and patient care, including performing visual acuities, checking ocular pressure, conducting Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Humphrey Visual Field (HVF) testing, as well as providing general personal care and support to patients.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the efficient operation of the hospital and provide high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to achieve these goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various clinical duties, including but not limited to: Humphrey Visual Field testing, OCT, Blood Pressure Monitoring, Blood Glucose Testing, Irrigation, and ECG recording.
  • Support the Accident and Emergency Department with essential diagnostic tests and patient care.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to medical staff.

The salary for this role is approximately £24,071 - £25,674 per annum, pro rata. We offer a supportive working environment and opportunities for professional development and growth.
