Job Description

This 12-month fixed term Trade Planning Assistant role involves using commercial acumen and retail office experience to build recommendations on in-store retail events. You will spend 60% of your time in office locations or local sites, and the rest remotely. We welcome conversations about flexible working to support your needs.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Understand performance drivers through sound analytics and build recommendations
  • Apply insight and customer understanding to the Events programme to support space optimization, sales and customer perception
  • Communicate and own delivery of the critical path, prioritizing promotions and ranges based on customer needs and calendar themes. Escalate risks or issues to your manager in a timely fashion
  • Develop relationships with Retail, Product, Customer and SRD teams
  • Become an expert on competitors' Promotions and Events across all channels
  • Own review highlighting trends and make recommendations on improvement by channel (stores & Online)
  • Adhere to all Tesco policies, storage and hand over protocols and successfully complete all required training
