About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional researcher to join our team as a Presidential Fellow, focusing on advancing research in Quantum Computing Theory and Quantum Algorithms. Our strategy prioritises cutting-edge research that is significant, impactful, and engaged with the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or contribute to a multidisciplinary research team working on a specific research topic.
  • Collaborate with academics to publish research findings in conferences and journals.
  • Prepare new proposals for external funding.
  • Support the supervision of doctoral students.
  • Undertake a limited amount of teaching to aid integration and prepare for a permanent academic position.

Requirements

  • PhD in Quantum Computing or a related research area.
  • Strong research track record, including publications in relevant conferences and journals in Quantum Computing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through academic publications and presentations.
