About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Design Manager to join our team at Invision Group. As a Freelance Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design activities for a major construction project.
Project Overview:
The project involves the construction of a new storage facility on behalf of a leading storage brand. The facility will be designed and delivered by our client, a construction company that specializes in modern and innovative production and processing facilities for businesses and brands in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting into the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for all design activities for the project.
- You will work closely with the project team to ensure that the design meets the client's requirements and is delivered on time.
- You will be responsible for managing the design process, including developing design concepts, creating detailed designs, and coordinating with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of leading design activities on large-scale construction projects, preferably in the industrial or storage sectors.
- CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications.
- Full UK driving license and access to a car.
