Job Title

**Band 6 Adult Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 6 Adult Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist to join our team at Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting driving assessments, providing advice on driving safety, and recommending suitable mobility equipment for clients with disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of posture management, manual handling, and wheelchair accessibility. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To conduct driving assessments with clients to identify potential risks and provide guidance on safe driving practices.
  2. To recommend and prescribe suitable mobility equipment, such as electric wheelchairs and scooters, to enhance independence and quality of life.
  3. To work closely with the driving school instructors to monitor learner drivers' progress and set goals for improvement.
  4. To maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and reports in accordance with COT guidelines and QEF documentation policies.

Benefits and Remuneration

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive working environment.
