Job Title:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join The Thrive Group, who have been cooking and delivering delicious frozen meals for over 30 years. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to maintain a clean and well-presented vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups according to route plans and customer delivery schedules.
  • Perform pre-shift vehicle checks to ensure safe operation and regular maintenance.
  • Cover various operations duties, including driving, freezer work, and occasional administrative support.
  • Clean and refuel your van as needed; maintaining a tidy presentation is essential.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and notify the office of any discrepancies or delays.
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain organized paperwork at the end of each working day.
Requirements:
  • Desirable experience in multi-drop delivery roles with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Own transport required due to client locations.
  • Basic car maintenance knowledge (e.g., vehicle checks, changing light bulbs, topping up fluids, changing a tyre without assistance).
  • Ability to work in freezer picking and packing environments (kit provided).
  • Flexible to cover emergencies and adapt to changing situations.
  • Must hold a Full Clean UK Driving License for manual vehicle use.
Estimated Salary:

£12 per hour pay rate, estimated annual salary: £24,960 - £25,659 per annum, depending on location and experience.
