Role Overview

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Assembly Technician to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the meticulous preparation and assembly of construction hoists, ensuring compliance with both company and manufacturer specifications. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment, apply your mechanical and electrical expertise, and support the seamless execution of construction operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, repair, and prepare construction hoists prior to deployment.
  • Identify and organize ancillary hoist components.
  • Recognize various makes and models of hoists within our inventory.
  • Interpret manufacturer schematics and pinpoint part numbers accurately.
  • Utilize hand and power tools effectively as required.
  • Operate high-pressure washing equipment safely.
  • Employ workshop tools and machinery proficiently.

Are You the Ideal Candidate?

  • Possess mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Understand relevant regulations regarding lifting equipment.
  • Experience with hand and power tools is essential.
  • Ability to perform efficiently under pressure.
  • Working at Heights certification is preferred.
  • A PAT testing qualification is advantageous.
  • Previous experience with hoist systems is a plus.
