Key Responsibilities:
• Effectively carry out a variety of maintenance activities, adhering to current procedures and guidelines.
• Contribute to team delivery of agreed targets and goals, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
• Comply with current Tool Control procedure, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Carry out Improving Quality and Continuous Quality Improvement reviews, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes.
• Support a climate of continuous improvement, promoting productivity, quality, and lean methodology within the team.
• Undertake work to the highest level of competence, ensuring exceptional quality and attention to detail.
• Agree to undertake other duties within the team to support output, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Work within and promote the Behavioural Competencies, embodying the values and principles of Standard Aero.
• Ensure all procedures relating to foreign object debris control are adhered to, maintaining a safe working environment.
Competencies:
Core
• Essential: Team worker with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desirable
• Ability to provide advice as a subject matter expert, leveraging your expertise to support the team.
Functional
• Essential: Full compliance and understanding of Quality Management System, actively participating in continuous improvement activities.
Organisational Relationships:
Reports directly to the Front-Line Manager, ensuring clear lines of communication and accountability.
Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:
Essential: Recognised indentured apprenticeship or military equivalent, Human Factors, experience of working with Drawings and approved source information, and understanding of Military MRP 145 and associated Regulatory requirements.
Desirable: Suitable engineering qualification in Aerospace/Electrical Engineering, previous experience of independent inspections, Cat B or Certifier authorisations, and previous Chinook Electrical experience.
Experience:
Previous experience within a Base maintenance Electrical environment would be an advantage, demonstrating your ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.
