About the Job


We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join our team. As an iOS Developer at Global Relay, you will be working on building pioneering products that are used by tens of thousands of users globally. You will be responsible for designing and implementing mobile applications for iOS devices to deliver enterprise services.



Key Responsibilities



  2. Design and implement mobile applications for iOS devices to deliver enterprise services
  3. Collaborate with agile development teams to ensure timely delivery of projects
  4. Write automated unit and integration tests for code
  5. Design user interfaces and software implementations that satisfy business requirements
  6. Collaborate with SDETs in development of test cases for code
  7. Document code and detail designs
  8. Collaborate with product owners on user story generation and refinement
  9. Monitor and support operation of production systems
  10. Participate in knowledge sharing activities with colleagues


Requirements



  • Minimum 5+ years of experience building native applications for Apple devices with Swift
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a love for technical challenges
  • Understanding of the principles of computer science
  • Solid understanding of OOP and SOLID principles, design patterns, algorithm design
  • Strong architectural knowledge (TCA, Redux, Functional Reactive Programming, MVVM) and passionate about writing clean, modular and testable code
  • Deep understanding of SwiftUI, UIKit, Foundation, structured concurrency and dependency injection
  • Experience with source code management
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs
  • Ability to debate the pros and cons of different technical approaches and work independently
  • Ability to provide insight into iOS development best practices and support decisions around framework and tool choices
  • A strong sense of ownership in your work and a hunger to build something remarkable
  • Focus on customer outcomes and making data-informed decisions
  • A positive mindset, can do attitude, being proactive and a team player


What We Offer


At Global Relay, you can expect a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Location


Global Relay is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. While we primarily operate remotely, we require all employees to be based within North America.
