Private Land Access Coordinator


We are seeking an experienced Private Land Access Coordinator to join our Access & Acquisitions Team. As a Private Land Access Coordinator, you will be responsible for acquiring private land for water mains and sewers. This involves negotiating with landowners, preparing valuations and budgets, and facilitating access to land for infrastructure projects.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Provide advice on Statutory Powers of Entry and issue Statutory Notices to landowners.
  2. Prepare accurate valuations and budgets for land acquisitions and negotiate compensation claims with landowners.
  3. Liaise with landowners to facilitate access to land for water mains and sewer projects, including negotiating accommodation and reinstatement works.
  4. Represent the company at meetings with key stakeholders and assist with the training and supervision of junior surveyors.

Requirements:


  • Hold a Land and/or Property Management Degree accredited by the RICS.
  • Be a qualified Chartered Surveyor or an APC Candidate nearing Chartered Membership.
  • Have a working knowledge of the Water Industry Act 1991 and the company's Code of Practice for Pipe laying in private land.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, planning, and prioritisation skills.
  • Have a full UK driving licence and excellent computer and IT skills.

Salary and Benefits:


The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and opportunities for professional development.
