About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Commercial Heating Engineer to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in installing low-carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our team to install low-carbon technology, including Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of new technologies and participate in training programs to enhance your skills
  • Use your expertise to deliver exceptional customer experiences and provide technical advice
  • Review and contribute to technical specifications and mechanical drawings
  • Collaborate with electricians to commission Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Lead your team, taking responsibility for your crew and empowering them to make informed decisions

Requirements

  • G3 (unvented cylinder) qualification or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in boiler installation, with a plus for air source heat pump knowledge
  • Experience as a plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design and fault-finding capabilities
  • Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points
