About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Commercial Heating Engineer to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in driving the global renewable energy revolution by installing low-carbon technology in customers' homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our team to install low-carbon technology, including Air Source Heat Pumps, in customers' homes.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of new technologies and participate in our innovative training program at our £10m R&D centre.
  • Use your expertise to deliver exceptional customer experiences and provide technical support to our customers.
  • Review and collaborate on technical specifications and mechanical drawings to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Work closely with electricians to commission Air Source Heat Pumps and lead your team to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • G3 (unvented cylinder) qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in the installation of boilers and a strong understanding of air source heat pumps.
  • Experience as a plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design and fault-finding capabilities.
  • Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
