We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional food quality and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality food production.
- Develop and implement kitchen procedures to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan menus, manage inventory, and control costs.
- Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring it's in good working order and meets health and safety standards.
- Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and concepts, working closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen team members.
- Overtime pay for every hour worked over contracted hours.

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
