Job Title: Creative Teaching Assistant Role

Protocol Education is seeking a creative teaching assistant to join a supportive primary special needs school in Wandsworth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in education and be comfortable working with students who have special needs.

Job Summary:
  • Full-time role
  • Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 3:15pm
  • Located in Wandsworth, London
  • Working in a highly supportive primary special needs school
  • Supporting students on a one-to-one basis and being part of a designated class
  • Teaching vocabulary and numeracy in a creative approach
  • Assisting the teacher in lessons such as sensory play, music, art, and cooking
  • Following students' individualized plans and helping students reach their targets
  • Opportunity to receive training and professional development
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with special needs in a one-to-one and group setting
  • Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons
  • Teach vocabulary and numeracy skills in a creative and engaging way
  • Support students with their individualized plans and help them reach their targets
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment
