About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in the Borough of Barnet. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Arts, Drama, or Musical Theatre and be passionate about using creativity and imagination to engage students with the primary curriculum. You will work alongside other creative professionals, including Dance, Music, Art, and Sport graduates, to create a holistic and inclusive learning environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative graduate to gain experience and develop their skills in a supportive and dynamic school community. The school offers salaried teacher training, exclusively available to their internal teaching assistant team, providing a clear career path for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 in a variety of settings, including small group and 1:1 work
  • Use creativity and imagination to engage students with the primary curriculum
  • May involve supporting students with mild SEN, including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and Speech & Language issues
