Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Transformation Unit, working with children and young people to improve their mental health and well-being.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to work in a dynamic and supportive team, providing high-quality specialist psychology assessment and intervention to young people referred to the team.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and intervene with children, teenagers, and young adults, and their families
- Work collaboratively with schools, colleges, and other community-based professionals
- Provide consultation, support, and psychological advice
- Contribute to the development of an evidence base for relevant conditions and outcomes affecting patients treated with our services
- Liaise and work effectively with staff from wider health, community, and education as appropriate
- Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society
- Professional Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
- Significant experience of working with children and young people with mental health difficulties
- Relevant experience and training in multi-disciplinary assessments of neurodevelopmental difficulties in children and adolescents
- Proven experience of working effectively with people with mental health difficulties, including autonomous management of a complex caseload
