About the Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled High-Performance Systems Developer to join our team at Apple Inc. in Cupertino, California.

In this role, you will design and develop high-performance functional models of advanced SoC designs, working closely with cross-functional teams to promote new opportunities and techniques.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance functional models of advanced SoC designs.
  • Bridge the gap between software and hardware, influencing performance improvements, power efficiency, security, and programming ease.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across product groups.
  • Promote new opportunities and techniques with other groups.

Requirements:

  • Background in low-level software, operating systems, or compilers.
  • Excellent programming (C++/C) and scripting skills (Python). Assembly experience a plus.
  • Proficiency with debugging large, complex system software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with kernel, driver and firmware development a plus.
  • Experience with modeling and simulation a plus.
  • Knowledge of ARM and/or X86 architectures a plus.

The estimated salary for this position is $160,000 - $220,000 per year.
