Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEN Support

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a friendly primary school in Mitcham. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a positive impact on their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Adapt teaching materials and techniques to accommodate the student's needs.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the student's progress.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children who have SEN.
  • Experience of working with or caring for children, preferably in a school setting.
  • A clear DBS, if you do not have a relevant DBS, we can apply one for you.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £85-£105 per day.
  • A long-term/ permanent contract.
