Job Ad: Behavioural Needs Teaching Assistant (KS3/4 PRU) - South London

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced Behavioural Needs Teaching Assistant to support a dedicated team in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in South London.

?? Role Insight
You will work with students who exhibit challenging behaviour due to various factors such as:

• Emotional difficulties
• Social and emotional learning challenges
• Complex needs
• Trauma
• Other factors

As a Behavioural Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of these students. You will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and improve academic outcomes.

?? Key Responsibilities
• Support students with challenging behaviour in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) setting
• Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement behaviour management strategies
• Assist with lesson planning and delivery to promote positive behaviour and academic progress
• Provide individualised support to students with complex needs
• Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualised education plans
