Commissioning Engineer Job Description

Our client, a leading HVAC company with a rich history spanning over 100 years, is seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join their project delivery team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful commissioning of Air Handling Units (AHUs) according to established scripts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out AHU commissioning tasks in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure site teams comply with health and safety measures.
  • Work with senior engineers to deliver the Commissioning Programme within agreed timeframes and budgets.
  • Identify and highlight potential risks related to resources, finances, and programme.

Requirements:
  • Qualify for electrical competence.
  • Prior experience in HVAC is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience with HVAC and MODBUS systems.
  • Hold or have previously held competence cards or completed training on harnesses, building and using podiums steps/work platforms, MEWPs, step ladders, etc.
  • Current and valid CSCS card.
  • Good problem-solving skills, especially with mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Full driving license.
  • Experience and knowledge of Data Centres is highly desirable.
  • Current SSSTS or SMSTS card is not essential.

Remuneration:
Upwards of £50k depending on experience. Overtime available, paid. Training on specific AHU systems and controls will be provided at our factories in Wurzen, Germany.
