Purchasing Administrator

At Flowtech, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Allocate stock to sales and works orders efficiently
  • Monitor component orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Communicate regularly with the sales team regarding availability and demand
  • Control daily cycle counts and maintain accurate records
  • Assess and monitor supplier performance
  • Progress and monitor purchase orders
  • Maintain operating system information and control customer returns
  • Drive warehouse KPIs and arrange logistics for shipments
  • Ensure service on outbound freight and perform general administrative duties
Requirements:
  • Strong IT skills, including intermediate level Excel and MS Office
  • Experience with operating systems, ideally Sage Line 200, and knowledge of B.O.M/Works Order
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • A strategic thinker able to act on initiative
  • Confident in tackling problems and excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
