About the Role
Fife Council is seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our care at home teams in the North East Fife Locality. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting service users to maintain their independence and live in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to service users in their own homes.
- Build effective relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively with other Council services and partner agencies to deliver care and support services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the individual needs of service users.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements
- Caring and compassionate with good values and a genuine interest in providing quality care and support.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with service users and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and Council services.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care Standards.
- SVQ 2 in Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
Registration and PVG Scheme
You will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of taking up employment and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
