Job Description

At AtkinsRéalis, we're seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Operations Manager to join our Power New Build team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of numerous projects in nuclear operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a pipeline of work to grow and deploy capable staff as clients' projects move from construction through commissioning and pre-operations into operations.
  • Advise on capability requirements within the Nuclear and Power business and supervise the delivery of high-quality technical work.
  • Provide assistance on proposals and bids for future projects.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in leading Nuclear Operational Support activities, including operational roles and/or operational support roles at operational nuclear power plants.
  • Credible as a nuclear professional with behaviours and competencies that support a strong nuclear safety culture.
  • Experience in the construction, commissioning, and pre-operational environments with a strategic view of international best practice and operational focus.
  • Experience in the maintenance and outage environments for a nuclear power plant, bringing a strategic view of international best practice and the execution of work.
  • Motivated to apply a mixture of technical and operational expertise to develop the right skills in our teams to support clients in the latter stages of major nuclear new build projects and into the operational phases.
