Are you a seasoned professional looking for a new challenge in the nuclear energy sector? We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Nuclear to join our client's team.

Our client is a leading international company in the nuclear energy industry, renowned for their innovative solutions and high-value technologies. They are currently working on several industry-leading power generation projects and are seeking to expand their talent team.

Job Summary:

The Head of Nuclear will be responsible for managing the Buildings Integrated Team and delivering all associated design activities for the project. This includes ensuring the timely and quality resolution of technical topics and open points, as well as managing the interfaces with other integrated teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Buildings Integrated Team and deliver all associated design activities
  • Ensure the timely and quality resolution of technical topics and open points
  • Manage the interfaces with other integrated teams
  • Manage the relationship with internal and external stakeholders and the client

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in senior engineering / leadership / project management
  • Nuclear New Build, EPR or PWR experience
  • Project and delivery management experience
  • Good understanding of requirements and expectations of UK laws, regulations, nuclear industry operating experience and best practices
  • Exemplary team and pastoral management skills
  • French language skills (highly desirable)
