About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Wholesale Consultant to join our team at Harnham. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IRB wholesale models for clients across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing end-to-end IRB wholesale models for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Providing expert advice on UK and international financial regulations, including IFRS9, ICAAP, ILAAP, and stress-testing.
  • Contributing to projects related to risk appetite, risk limits, and capital management.
  • Participating in stress testing and capital management activities.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in developing IRB wholesale models, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in developing IRB models end-to-end, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Ideal experience working for a consultancy or top-tier bank, with a strong network of industry contacts.
  • Experience with SAS, SQL, Python, and/or R, with a strong understanding of data analysis and modelling techniques.
  • STEM degree from a top university, with a strong academic record.
