Harnham is seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Wholesale Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IRB wholesale models for clients across Europe.

About the Role

As a Credit Risk Wholesale Consultant, you will:

  • Develop and implement end-to-end IRB wholesale models for clients, ensuring compliance with UK and international financial regulations.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on relevant financial regulations, including IFRS9, ICAAP, ILAAP, and stress-testing.
  • Contribute to projects related to risk appetite, risk limits, and capital management.
  • Participate in stress testing and capital management activities.

Requirements

To be successful as a Credit Risk Wholesale Consultant, you will need:

  • Strong experience developing IRB wholesale models, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience developing IRB models end-to-end, with a deep understanding of the IRB regulatory landscape.
  • Ideal experience working for a consultancy or top UK bank, with a strong network of industry contacts.
  • Experience with IRB, IFRS9, ICAAP, ILAAP, and stress-testing, with a strong understanding of the regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with SAS, SQL, Python, and/or R, with a strong programming background.
  • A STEM degree from a top university, with a strong academic record.
