About the Role

Ribbons and Reeves Limited is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Special Education Mental Health Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Special Education Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with emotional and behavioral needs in a dynamic and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and wellbeing.
Requirements
  • At least a 2:1 Psychology-related Degree from a Russell Group University or one of the UK's Top 20 Universities.
  • Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH needs (desirable but not essential).
  • Aspirations to pursue a career within the Education sector.
