Special Needs Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEND and be able to provide tailored support to students in a variety of school settings. You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to develop and implement plans that address the unique needs of each student.
Responsibilities:- Supporting the delivery of engaging lessons and activities that cater to individual SEND needs.
- Providing one-on-one or small-group support to help students manage their emotions and build confidence.
- Delivering focused interventions to promote academic and emotional growth.
- Level 2+ Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Recent experience working with children in special educational settings.
- Strong understanding of SEND and ability to adapt to various teaching environments.
The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also receive comprehensive training and ongoing support as a valued member of our team.
