Job Title: Environmental Compliance Manager - Waste and Recycling

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Manager to join our team at Red Kite Recruitment Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that waste material is transferred and processed in accordance with the client's waste management permit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems, Policies and Procedures
  • Develop and implement effective waste management strategies to minimize environmental impact
  • Conduct site visits to monitor waste transfer and processing operations
  • Prepare and submit reports on waste management activities and environmental compliance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless waste management operations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in environmental compliance and waste management
  • Knowledge of chemistry and waste analysis
  • IOSH / NEBOSH certification or equivalent
  • WAMITAB COTC (Certificate of Technical Competence) in Waste Management
  • Environmental Science Degree or Masters
  • Full UK Driving License
