Job Title: Specialist Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team at Parker Smith Inclusion. As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a modern and exciting school in Barnet, North West London.

About the Role:
  • You will work alongside the class teacher to provide emotional and behavioural support to children aged 4-16 with ASC, ADHD, and other SEND.
  • Responsibilities will include supporting children with their learning, behaviour, and emotional well-being, as well as communicating with parents and carers.
  • This is an ideal role for a highly academic graduate looking to get into teaching or a career in education.

We are looking for a Specialist Teaching Assistant who is passionate about working with children with SEND and is committed to making a positive impact on their lives.

This is a specialist role that requires determination, a willingness to learn, and a good sense of humour. The students within this school require specialist 121 support, and a majority of the pupils have a diagnosis of ASC.
