Job Title: School Escort Assistant

Job Summary:

Isis Out of School Club is seeking a reliable and caring School Escort Assistant to join our team. As a School Escort Assistant, you will be responsible for providing safe and engaging experiences for children after school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect children from school and transport them safely to the club
  • Prepare and deliver activities that promote learning and fun
  • Provide full care for the children, including administering first aid as needed
  • Communicate effectively with parents, schools, and other childcare agencies
  • Follow all policies and procedures to ensure the highest standard of care

Requirements:

  • Must be 17 years or above
  • Understanding of good quality childcare and ability to provide safe and creative play opportunities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current first aid certificate
  • Current driving license
  • Childcare qualification or willingness to work towards an NVQ in Playwork
