The Role

Are you an experienced data professional looking to provide high-quality data solutions in a leading organisation? We're seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our Technology & Transformation team, where you'll be involved in designing, implementing and supporting effective BI and ETL solutions.

You'll contribute to the success of the organisation by designing, developing and delivering Business Intelligence solutions; from eliciting and defining stakeholder needs, to delivering solutions and ongoing support and maintenance. You will be influential in identifying the correct platform and tools to deliver data warehousing, analytic platforms and visualisation tools. A key part of your role will be interfacing with internal stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of cyclical projects; being the technical expert in the project team and presenting demos of tools and platforms.

Our Ideal Candidate? We're looking for a delivery-focused individual with an analytical approach and the ability to understand complex issues and identify suitable solutions to ensure continuous improvement. You'll also be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant experience in data warehousing / modelling and optimisation, with an understanding of ETL processes
  • Experience of using Power BI data models and reports
  • Experience of Azure Data Factory, Databricks and advanced knowledge of SQL
  • Finally, you'll be confident engaging with all levels of stakeholders, with the ability to translate and communicate technical themes into understandable solutions.

In this role, you'll have the flexibility to work from home for up to 2 days a week, dependent on the needs of the business. We're also open to discussing flexible work patterns with candidates on an individual basis.
