About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Composite Design Engineer to lead the design process of F1 car composite parts, from conceptualization to detailed design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in composite materials, manufacturing processes, and structural analysis, with a proven track record of delivering high-performance designs.
Responsibilities- Lead the composite design process, ensuring the integration of innovative and high-performance solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate composite design seamlessly into the overall car design.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the composite design team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the composite design team.
- Stay at the forefront of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and industry advancements.
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in composite design, particularly in high-performance automotive or motorsports industries.
- In-depth knowledge of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and structural analysis.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as CATIA, Siemens NX, or similar.
