Senior Composite Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Composite Design Engineer to join our team at Red Bull Racing. As a key member of our composite design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance composite components for our F1 cars.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the composite design process, from conceptualization to detailed design, ensuring the integration of innovative and high-performance solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics, concept, and other engineering disciplines, to integrate composite design seamlessly into the overall car design.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the composite design team.
- Work closely with suppliers and external partners to source high-quality materials and components.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the composite design team.
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in composite design, particularly in high-performance automotive or motorsports industries.
- In-depth knowledge of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and structural analysis.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as CATIA, Siemens NX, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Flexible and can-do attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.
