About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team at Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network environments using Palo Alto Networks technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Network Security Architecture: You will design, implement, and manage secure network architectures using Palo Alto Networks technologies.
  • Threat Detection and Response: You will monitor network traffic and security events to detect and respond to potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Security Policy Development: You will implement and maintain security policies, rules, and configurations to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Security Assessments: You will conduct security assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security risks.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Palo Alto Networks Expertise: You must have extensive knowledge of Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Panorama, and related security solutions.
  • Network Security Principles: You must have a strong understanding of network security principles, including firewall policies, VPNs, IPS/IDS, and threat prevention.
  • Incident Response: You must have hands-on experience with security incident response and management.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) are highly desirable.

Salary Information

$75 per hour
