Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Fabric Maintenance Specialist to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a Building Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for providing mobile delivery of planned and reactive FM maintenance services to our clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance inspections, including painting and decorating, basic lighting, fixing furniture, hanging pictures and shelves, and maintaining log books.
- Perform fault finding and reporting, and undertake all building fabric activities.
- Build client relationships and report any defects during site visits.
- Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections, reports, and remedial work.
Requirements:
- Experience in a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment or similar role.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a time-served apprenticeship, C&G, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to use a mobile device.
- Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Highly self-motivated and solutions-focused, with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
