Mobile Fabric Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for providing mobile delivery of planned and reactive FM maintenance services across various clients and industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out maintenance inspections, including painting and decorating, basic lighting, fixing furniture, and hanging pictures and shelves.
  • Maintain and update log books, and carry out respective fault finding and reporting.
  • Undertake all building fabric activities, including building client relationships and reporting any defects at the time of site visit.
  • Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work.
Requirements:
  • Experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment or similar role.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a time served apprenticeship, C&G or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to use a mobile device.
  • Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
  • Highly self-motivated and solutions-focused, with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
