About the Role

We Are With You is seeking a dedicated Recovery Worker to join our team in Shropshire. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and advice to individuals experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing referrals into the service, completing triage assessments, and providing harm reduction advice. You will also develop plans with clients to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Working with Our Team

You will be part of a dedicated treatment team that works closely with partner agencies to provide comprehensive support to our clients. You will have the opportunity to work in outreach locations and bases, improving referral times for psychological, physical health, and wellbeing services.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ONC/NVQ level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 months
  • A satisfactory enhanced DBS check
  • Experience of working in a health, social care, or related setting
  • The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using IT and digital media
  • Organised and able to manage your time effectively
