About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team. As a Recovery Worker, you will provide support and advice to individuals experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cover keywork sessions and medical reviews
  • Complete UDS and DBST for staff who are not present
  • Issue Naloxone and provide needle syringe provision
  • Take referrals and support the admin team
  • Complete ad-hoc assessments and respond to partnership agency queries

Requirements

  • ONC/NVQ level 3 or willingness to achieve within 12 months
  • Experience working in health, social care, or related settings
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Resilience under pressure and ability to prioritise work
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using IT and digital media
  • Organised and able to manage time effectively
