Operations Finance Business Partner

Are you a finance professional looking for a role where you can work closely with a business that values finance as a trusted advisor? Due to growth and ongoing development of our team, we're seeking an Operations Finance Business Partner who can create standard costing and understand the importance of business partnering. You will be based on our manufacturing site and ideally have excellent knowledge of business partnering in a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the yearly budget standard costing cycle from raw materials prices to end finished product, supported by insightful analysis of year-on-year movements.
  • Conduct monthly material variance analysis with root cause analysis to drive corrective actions by operations.
  • Be an effective business partner to bakery operations for budget target delivery.
  • Investigate key deviations to set financial targets and related prognosis.
  • Develop Excel-based dashboards and related models for the wider business.
  • Be a local expert in company costing policy.
  • Hold a qualified ACCA/CIMA or similar qualification.
  • Have a solid background in operations finance in a manufacturing business.
  • Familiarity with commercial tender processes.
