Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Business Partner at Sungrow - EMEA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing financial reports, including monthly reports and year-end closing, in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models, including actuals and rolling forecasts, for review by EMEA Management and HQs.
  • Preparing budget figures for management review and maintaining comparisons of actuals to budget.
  • Preparing financial reports as needed by management, including yearly audit schedules, tax returns, cost share schedules, and budget vs. actual analysis.
  • Maintaining and improving internal control processes between HQ and subsidiaries.
  • Managing cash flow and ensuring compliance with local requirements for accounting and taxation.
  • Providing advice on local accounting and taxation issues.
  • Serving as the contact person for auditors and tax authorities.
  • Managing finance-related matters in client contracts, including pre- and post-sale activities.
  • Setting up and managing financial information systems.
  • Supporting third-party payment processing and tracking.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in finance, accounting, auditing, or a related field, with certified accountant status being an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations, including VAT and corporate income tax, and regular finance reporting needs.
  • Experience in international tax topics and transfer pricing.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English, with Mandarin being a plus.
  • Business acumen, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and a pragmatic approach.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to build networks within the organization.
  • Hands-on patience with a can-do mentality.
  • SAP or other ERP system experience.
