About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Engagement Coach. As an Engagement Coach, you will play a vital role in delivering support, mentoring, and coaching to students who are part of our Alternative Provision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver activities including team-building games, building social interaction, critical thinking activities, sports, and restorative practice.
  • Engage with young people, support their behaviours and listening skills, and encourage a positive outlook towards learning.
  • Develop activities and resources to meet the needs of students, consult with the school lead to set targets, and report on progress and behaviours.
Requirements
  • DBS (essential)
  • Coaching, Mentoring, Assessing, or Teaching qualification
  • Experience in delivering training and working in diverse education, community, and/or sports environments
  • Experience of working with young people who are hard to engage
What We Offer
  • 5 days per week, 5 hours per day
  • Paid Holiday (accrued and paid at end of fixed term period)
