Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our team at a prestigious bar food and brunch venue in Clapham. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading a small team of chefs and managing the kitchen operations to deliver high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small team of chefs and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent food quality and presentation
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase innovative bar food and brunch options
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize profitability
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Chef in a similar environment
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide a small team
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices and regulations
