Client Project Management Lead

The Humane League is seeking a highly skilled and experienced project manager to join our Corporate Projects team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for proposing and testing effective new strategies to advocate for animal welfare reforms to corporate audiences.
This is a full-time, remote position that requires strong project management skills, excellent communication expertise, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for managing multiple cross-departmental projects, developing and maintaining expertise on corporate communications and marketing strategies, and leveraging digital tools and platforms to keep data and information organized and accessible.
Responsibilities- Invent, evaluate, develop, and project manage new and innovative strategies to influence corporations and their top executives.
- Author and design strategic resources such as newsletters, websites, case studies, advertisements, and reports to educate corporate executives about animal welfare issues.
- Develop and maintain expertise on corporate communications and marketing strategies used within the food industry.
- Understand and stay up to date on the broader industry landscape on animal welfare issues and the nuances of the individual animal welfare policies THL is requesting of companies.
- Leverage digital tools and platforms to keep data and information organized and accessible.
- Experience: You have enough professional or non-professional experience with advocacy work to demonstrate a strong understanding and detailed knowledge of how to effectively drive systems transformation.
- Communication: You have compelling written and verbal communication skills, which will enable you to present THL's message professionally and convincingly in reports, websites, and other content designed for high-level executives and public audiences.
- Organization and long-term planning: Managing a large number of projects requires exemplary organizational skills, including effective cross-departmental project management skills, and daily use of digital tools and platforms.
The compensation range for this role is $67,130 – $82,048 USD. As part of our commitment to transparency and equity, we have implemented a job architecture framework and a compensation step system.
