We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Specialist Support Assistant to join our Key Stage 1 team in a 'Good' primary school located in Preston.
About the Role:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.50
- Initial contract for one academic year, with the possibility of extension
Responsibilities:
As a Specialist Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils with additional needs to ensure their comfort, happiness, and safety within the learning environment. You will provide individual support to pupils, enabling them to access their learning effectively. We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a passion for education.
Requirements:
- Level 2 or above relevant qualification
- Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided)
- Able to work the required hours, term-time only
- Experience working with children or individuals with additional needs
- Positive attitude and high reliability
