About the Role

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Distributed Hardware Engineer to join our team at Sky Ireland Limited. As a Distributed Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing carrier-grade network solutions that meet the company's high standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing network architectures that support Sky's business strategy
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Providing expert advice on network architecture and design to stakeholders

You will have a strong background in distributed hardware architecture and hands-on experience with Nokia 7750. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in network architecture and design
  • Strong understanding of distributed hardware architecture and hands-on experience with Nokia 7750
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving skills
